Applying Styles
The procedure for creating and saving styles depend on the type of style you are creating.
Applying Text Styles
1.
In the Text window, select the text to which you want to apply the style. Select
individual characters or press Command-A to select all text.
2.
Click the
Style Palette button
to open the Style Palette.
3.
In the Text tab in the Style Palette, click to select the parameters to
apply. The choices are Fonts, Size, Face, Fill, Edge, Shadow and Transform.
4.
Double-click the thumbnail for the style you want to apply or click to select the
thumbnail and click the
Apply Style
button
.
Applying Color Styles
1.
In the Text window, select the text to which you want to apply the style. Select
individual characters or press Command-A to select all text.
2.
Click the
Style Palette button
to open the Style Palette.
3.
Use the eyedropper to apply the sampled color from the Style Palette
to the appropriate parameter.
Applying Gradient Styles
1.
In the Text window, select the text to which you want to apply the style. Select
individual characters or press Command-A to select all text.
2.
In the Text window’s Fill tab, choose Gradient from the
Text Fill menu.
3.
Click the
Style Palette button
to open the Style Palette.
4.
In the Gradient tab in the Style Palette, double-click the thumbnail for
the style you want to apply or click to select the thumbnail and click the
Apply
Style
button
.
Applying Font Styles
1.
In the Text window, select the text to which you want to apply the style. Select
individual characters or press Command-A to select all text.
2.
Click the
Style Palette button
to open the Style Palette.
3.
In the Font tab in the Style Palette, double-click the thumbnail for the
style you want to apply or click to select the thumbnail and click the
Apply Style
button
.
